![]() To say the FX series was a terrible CPU is an incredibly ignorant statement. My HP Omen laptop with an intel i7 8750 and a 1060 3gb gpu plays better with RPCS3, but then again, it has support for recent instruction sets that a 7 year old CPU does not support. ![]() Then again the FX series was released back in 2012? You can't expect miracles. ![]() I don't think it is so much an issue with the processor but more than likely the plugin just isn't coded efficiently for this cpu. I've had success playing both Fight Night Round 4 and Right Night Champion with my FX 8120, though audio is a constant issue. Yes, they aren't great for major emulations like the rpcs3 (which still has a tonne of issues even with a beast of a rig) but I have no issues with most other emulators. However this line of chips started to close the rift between the 2 companies and now today we have Ryzen out-performing Intel chips. The i5 2500k still was more expensive than the comparable AMD chipset by about $50. The FX line came out so cheap (an 8 core processor could be had for around $170 brand new) and was really the first time that AMD stepped up and challenged intel competitively-to the point Intel dropped their prices drastically on all their mid-range CPU's (wasn't really visible to the general public the the original release price of the intel line was much higher than the price at the release date). LOL, seriously? I don't want to go too much into history BUT the FX series of cpu's forced a major turning point that shaped the market we have today.
